Solicitors in Enfield for your LPA

At Adel Jibs Solicitors we will always recommend to our clients that they should consider having LPA’s for both Health & Wellbeing and Finance.

Having an LPA in place means that you will have the peace of mind to known people you know and trust (attorneys) can make a decision on your behalf when you are no longer able to do so.

Any new LPA must be discussed with a qualified professional such as a Solicitor, who verifies what you are agreed to and confirms that you were not coerced into signing.

It is important to note that an LPA does not instantly give power to the attorney, as it is only triggered on the occurrence of an event i.e when you are no longer able to decide for yourself.

If you become incapacitated without an LPA, the decision-making process could be awarded to anyone by the Court of Protection – including a relative, who you don’t believe has your best interest.

These are testing times and you may not be confident to come out to our office. No need to worry, at Adel Jibs & Co Solicitors we can talk over the phone or agree on safe ways of working for you in a way that works for you.
