Why you should consider making a Will ?

There are many reasons for you to consider making a Will if you have not done so already. The reality is that nobody knows when something bad would happen or when death would occur. However, with a Will in place, you can determine what happens to your assets, cash, property, and cryptocurrency in the event that you die expectedly and unexpectedly.

Will ensures that your wishes are carried out once you are no longer on earth. When you write a will, you can specify who your assets should go to, regardless of how big and small the assets, may be. When there is no Will in place, it becomes difficult for family and friends to agree on what to do with what you have left behind. With no Will in place, there is uncertainty and heightened conflict.

At Adel Jibs & Co Solicitors we would always encourage that you consider making a Will because it ensures that conflict and confusion are kept to a minimum.

If you don’t write a Will, the law will automatically decide how your assets will be disposed and as such, your assets and possession will be determined in the standard manner meaning that you are unable to give assets to your cherished friends. However, with a Will in place, you can leave whatever you like to whoever you like, regardless of whether they are your family or not.

In addition to the above, making a Will can reduce the level of Inheritance Tax due on your estate. At the firm of Adel Jibs our solicitors in Enfield, working across London have vast experience when it comes to helping individuals avoid inheritance burden and reducing it as much as possible whilst remaining within the law.

If you have children, it is important to make a Will in the event that there would be no parent left after your death. With a Will, you can help determine who would look after your child. With a Will, you can determine who gets the role of organising your estate. This person is known as the ‘executor’.

At Adel Jibs & Co Solicitors our Wills and Probate Solicitors Enfield team can help if you’re ready to put a Will place. Call 02034173859 or send an email to info@adeljibssolicitors.co.uk for more information.
